Penne all’arrabbiata
Arrabbiata sauce Penne

This is a classic dish of Italian cuisine, quick and easy to cook. The taste of the dish depends on the type of pasta. Ingredients

Extra virgin olive oil
50 g
Garlic
1-2 cloves
Red chili pepper (it possible to use dried)
1 pcs. (1 spoon)
Canned tomatoes, peeled, chopped, in own juice (or passata)

Salt
to taste
Olives (green or black)
50 g
Capers
1/2 tablespoon
Fresh tomatoes
300 g
Ground black pepper
to taste
Parmesan
to taste
Basil
10 g

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a saucepan, fry the finely chopped garlic and chili so that they give off their aroma. Then remove the spices. In no event the garlic is burnt.

Add chopped tomatoes in own juice or passata. Cook, stirring from time to time, until thick. If desired, add the chopped basil.

Cook penne SchedroTM in salted water al dente (cooking time is specified on the package).

Finely chop the olives and capers, add them to the sauce. Slice fresh tomatoes and add them to a saucepan. Stir and leave over low heat for 10 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir.

Mix ready pasta with prepared sauce, and add grated parmesan, if desired. We recommend that you serve it on the hot plates, decorated with fresh basil. Use Parmesan cheese, if desired.
